    Eminem will perform on the Super Bowl halftime show with Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and Mary J Blige on February 14, at 7:15 AM US Time.

    The nominees for this year are A Tribe Called Quest and singers Lionel Richie, Dionne Warwick and British group Duran Duran. They expressed their excitement via Twitter.

    Simon Le Bon, Duran Duran’s singer, said that this distinction was due in large part because of the support we receive from fans all over the globe.

    Posthumously, Fela Kuti, a pioneer in Nigerian Afrobeat and activist, may be honored.

    John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation said that “this year’s ballot recognizes a diversity of incredible artists who have had a profound effect on the sound of youth music.”

    Other nominees include Devo, MC5, Rage Against the Machine and Judas Priest.

    Inductees will soon be announced in May. A ceremony will take place later in the year.
