Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) wants to talk to citizens at the federal government’s open day on Sunday.

Visitors can ask the head of government questions for an hour from 1 p.m. in the Chancellery. Other cabinet members also want to present their work.

Ministries and authorities had already opened their doors to visitors on Saturday and attracted thousands to the Berlin government district. It is the first such event after a two-year Corona break.

Among others, Minister of Construction Klara Geywitz (SPD), Minister of Labor Hubertus Heil (SPD), Minister of the Environment Steffi Lemke (Greens) and Minister of Finance Christian Lindner (FDP) came to the discussion rounds.
