Burger King celebrates the 64th birthday of Whopper and offers a special at its restaurants across the country.

The price of the iconic burger will drop to 37 cents on Dec. 3rd and 4th. Burger King claims that this is the lowest price it has ever seen since 1950.

“In 1957 Burger King changed the game when they introduced the Whopper sandwich, an iconic, flame-grilled hamburger prepared YOUR way,” Zahra Nuani, head marketing communications at Burger King North America stated.

There are about 1,024 potential combinations of the burger, which features a beef patty topped with ketchup, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion, Nurani added.

However, the discount is only available to Burger King Royal Perks Members.

members can earn crowns for every dollar they spend at Burger King as part of the loyalty program. You can redeem your crowns for specific food items. Each dollar equals 10 crowns.

Restaurant Brands International, the parent company of this chain, announced recently that it would reduce some Burger King menu items to increase its drive-thru service.

According to USA Today, Jose Cil, CEO of Restaurant Brands International, which also owns Popeyes and Tim Horton’s, announced the news at Morgan Stanley’s Global Consumer and Retail Conference.
