After four murders of Muslims within a few months in the US city of Albuquerque, US President Joe Biden has assured members of the religious community of his support. “I am upset and saddened by the horrific killings of four Muslim men in Albuquerque,” Biden tweeted Sunday.

“While we await a full investigation, my prayers are with the families of the victims and my government stands firmly with the Muslim community.” Biden continued, “These hateful attacks have no place in America.”

Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, said Saturday night they are investigating the murder of a Muslim man that may be linked to three similar crimes in the city.

In all four cases from the past nine months, the murdered were Muslim men from South Asia.
