After winning the Premier League by beating Aston Villa 3-2, football champions Manchester City apologized to the opposing team on Sunday for the behavior of their fans. When there was a storm after the final whistle, supporters of Cityzens Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen are said to have physically attacked.
“Manchester City would like to sincerely apologize to Robin Olsen,” the official statement said. “The club has immediately launched an investigation and will issue an indefinite stadium ban on the person responsible once identified.”
