(Montreal) Health authorities announced on Wednesday six new deaths linked to COVID-19, as well as a relative stabilization in the hospital network.

Of the six deaths, only one occurred in the last 24 hours. Two happened two to seven days ago and three more than seven days ago.

Since the start of the pandemic, 18,215 Quebecers have died from the disease.

Five fewer patients ended up in the hospital network, for a total of 1,274. Among them, 407 were in hospital due to COVID-19.

In intensive care, one person was added to the toll, which now stands at 34, including 17 patients who are being treated specifically for the disease.

For cases, Quebec has officially recorded 461 new infections, but remember that this data is fragmentary due to access to screening centers which is limited. Quebecers also declared 28 positive rapid tests on Tuesday.

On the vaccination side, 2704 doses were administered on Tuesday.
