Inhuman, anti-Russian slogans were scrawled on the sidewalk in front of the Russian-oriented International Lomonossow School in Marzahn for two weekends in a row. The B.Z. published on its website a photo of words in Russian in Cyrillic letters written in chalk on the sidewalk immediately in front of the building in Cosmonauts’ Alley.

According to B.Z. the photo comes from the mother of a child attending the school – as does the translation she wrote on the photo: “Chop up Russian children! Let’s go.” The word she translates as “to chop” could also be translated as “to chop” or “to make small”. The state security department of the police has started an investigation.

For the first time, the sidewalk was daubed between Friday, August 5, 7 p.m. and Monday, August 8, 8 a.m., in the second case between Saturday, August 13, 9 p.m. and Sunday, August 14, 8 a.m. The school administration filed a complaint in both cases after the graffiti were discovered.

Karina Jehniche, chairwoman of the interest group for Berlin school management, told the Tagesspiegel that she had “not heard from other schools about such incidents as in Marzahn”.
