A suspected drug lord from Brandenburg has been arrested in Tanzania and extradited to Germany. The 43-year-old, who was arrested in Dar es Salaam in mid-December on the basis of an international arrest warrant, should be tried before the Neuruppin district court this year, confirmed public prosecutor Olaf Jurtz from the Cottbus public prosecutor’s office on Thursday.
The “Lausitzer Rundschau” (online) reported first. According to the newspaper, it is said to be one of the largest drug dealers in East Germany.
