Medway’s supermarket was closed due to a medical emergency.
Today, the new Aldi store at Ambley Road on Gillingham Business Park was closed to allow emergency crews to attend to the situation.
Customers were told to leave the store at 1.45pm.
Witnesses claimed that they saw five police cars and three ambulances at the scene.
A spokesperson for the police said that officers were helping with a medical emergency.
