In Berlin, climate activists demonstrated again on Monday on the A100 city motorway. As the “Last Generation” initiative announced in the morning, participants had stuck themselves to the roadway and fixed themselves on gantries over the motorway. Pictures from the Reuters agency show protesters on a bridge over the carriageway and on the street itself.

According to the activists, the blockades are taking place on the A100 on Seestrasse and Beusselstrasse.

As the traffic information center announced on Twitter, an unannounced demonstration is taking place at the A100 Seestraße/Beusselstraße exit. Because of the demo, the BVG bus route 106 will be diverted in the direction of Seestrasse between Turmstrasse/Beusselstrasse and Seestrasse/Amrumer Strasse via Stromstrasse. The section of the autobahn between Dreieck Charlottenburg and the Seestrasse exit has been closed.
