After the recent great heat, the summer in Berlin and Brandenburg is initially more humid and thundery. As reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Potsdam, clouds will gather from the west on Thursday.

From midday onwards, regional showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and stormy gusts up to wind force eight are possible. The most sunshine is expected along the Oder and Neisse.
The temperatures should reach between 28 and 34 degrees, at night between 18 and 15 degrees.
According to the forecast, it will clear up again on Friday after a cloudy start and it will mostly remain dry. Only in the northern parts of the country should there be a few showers in the morning.
