the Best coach in 2019 was voted Yuri Semin, who led the players of the Moscow “Locomotive” won the Russian Cup, super Cup, and also took second place in the Russian Premier League. Russian national team on beach football took third place at the world Cup, recognized as the best team last year.
the Best athlete of the year recognized skater Alyona Kostina. Also prize “the Silver DOE”, awarded by the Federation of sports journalists of Russia, honored nine athletes: Anastasia of Voynow and Daria Shmeleva (both Cycling), Arthur Dalaloyan and Nikita Nagornyy (both gymnastics), Inna Deriglazova (fencing), Yuliya Efimova (swimming), Vyacheslau Krasilnikov and Oleg stoyanovsky (both beach volleyball), Daniil Medvedev (tennis) and Anzhelika Sidorova (athletics), Mr Balynets (Paralympic sports — powerlifting). Retired double world champion on volleyball Ekaterina Gamova received a diploma of the International Committee for fair play “for sportsmanship throughout his career”.
