In the capital, Seoul, South Korea ended in representative competitions in figure skating, “the Tournament of four continents”. In the men’s competition the victory was won by double Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu from Japan.
In the short program, Yuzuru scored 111,82 points, renewing own world record. Random Japanese judges appreciated in 187,60 points, which brought a total of 299,42 points.
In second place was the American Jason brown (274,82). The third was another Japanese Yuma of Kageyama (270,61).
