After the racially motivated gun attack that killed ten in New York State, President Joe Biden traveled to the scene of the violence on Tuesday. The President and his wife, Jill, will “mourn with the community who lost 10 lives in this senseless and horrific gun attack,” according to the White House.

Meanwhile, police believe the suspect intended to continue his crime. The shooter opened fire with an assault rifle in a supermarket on Saturday, killing ten people and injuring three others.

The 18-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene of the crime. “We found evidence that he had plans to continue his crime had he gotten out of there,” police officer Joseph Gramaglia told CNN on Monday. “He even talked about going to another store.”
