After the Russian attack, Germany has repeatedly supplied arms to Ukraine so that it can defend itself. That was decided by the traffic light coalition under the Social Democratic Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The Green coalition partner has also repeatedly campaigned for this.

Both parties were now the target of strangers in Berlin, who smeared three offices in Steglitz-Zehlendorf with the slogan “warmonger” over the weekend.

The lettering was found in orange on Saturday around 9 a.m. on the wall and the shop window of the citizens’ office of the Green MPs Benedikt Lux and Sabine Bangert in Schildhornstraße. This was confirmed by a spokeswoman for the police.

The window of the district office of the Greens in Steglitz-Zehlendorf on Berliner Strasse was daubed with the same word. The slogan was found there on Saturday afternoon, the police said.

The constituency office of SPD member of parliament Ruppert Stüwe in Moltkestraße, also in Steglitz-Zehlendorf, is affected.

Here the lettering “warmonger?” attached to the pane and house wall with white paint. The graffiti was found early Saturday morning, the police spokeswoman said.
