The start of the season American series NASCAR overshadowed by a mass crash

American racing series NASCAR took the start in the first race of the season at Daytona. The race was “incendiary” in a figurative and literal sense of the word. The finish line got only six cars, the rest went down because of accidents. He won the stage Eric Jones on the Toyota.

Jones was the best of the six pilots who managed in the end to reach the finish line. 12 riders went down because of accidents, the most serious of which happened three laps from the finish.

however, Jones was only 12 at the start of the fourth and final restart of the race at Daytona, but the pilot was able to get the lead on the final lap and won 0,697 seconds from Austin Dillon Chevrolet. Clint Boyer from team Ford in third.
