Today, April 7, head of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia for Novosibirsk region Viktor Orlov gave a forecast for spring-summer flood in the region.
According to preliminary data, flooding will affect areas in the Pershamaiski and Soviet districts of the city, as well as a number of settlements in the area.
— Now it becomes clear that just as in the past two years, we a period of high water will not make it. In may, the water level in the Ob river reaches 420 cm and might last June. 300-400 sites on the territory of Pervomaysky and Sovetsky districts may be subject to flooding: 9 country communities, — said Viktor Orlov.
