Russian midfielder Spanish “Valencia” Denis Cheryshev scored the only goal of his team in the first match of 1/8 final of League of Champions against Italian “Atalanta”. The Russian scored two minutes later after coming on as a substitute.
Thus, Cheryshev set a record bats, scoring in the Champions League fastest goal. As reported Cempionatam previously the record belonged to Roberto Soldado who have distinguished themselves after replacement in a match against “Borosport”. It happened in 2010.
Recall that the “Valencia” on departure has conceded to the “Atalanta” with the score 1:4. The return match 1/8 finals of the Champions League will be held on March 10 in Spain.
