Today, on 25 June, the Deputy of legislative Assembly of NSO Yury Shpakov lost in court under the claim about protection of the right to privacy and the protection of the image.
He was unhappy that the Internet spread a video of him arguing with a traffic officer. The video was shot as the defendants expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the car of employees of traffic police stop the traffic.
As stated on the website of the Leninsky court, the defendants filed a lawsuit against 11 companies and the media, including “e-Mail.ru”, “Peekaboo”, “Rambler Internet holding”, “Yandex”, “Google LLC” and “Television 360”, “median’yus”, “Publishing house “Baykal24”. Third parties in the case was made by Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
