The 2022 NFL Preseason Schedule will be opened by the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders on Aug. 4, in the Hall of Fame game.

Cliff Branch, a former Raiders receiver, and Richard Seymour, a defensive lineman for the Raiders will be inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame. Tony Boselli will also be inducted.

This will be the Raiders’ fourth appearance in the game, and the Jaguars’ second in the game; Jacksonville was last seen in the Jaguars first NFL exhibition game in 1995.

Bryant Young, Sam Mills, and LeRoy Butler are among the modern-era players who were inducted this year. Coach Dick Vermeil and Art McNally also made it into the list. Branch is a senior player.

Josh McDaniels will make his debut as Raiders head coach. He is from Canton and played high school football at Fawcett Stadium before moving to the new hall stadium. Doug Pederson will be the Jaguars’ head coach for his first game.
