the Head of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has decided to suspend the talks in Sochi to play hockey. This sport is for both leaders to be one of my favorites.
As reported by “Interfax”, Putin took the ice under the traditional number 11. Lukashenko went to the site at number one. The head of Belarus in advance appeared at the pre-match warm up and managed to take several shots towards the crowd of reporters.
Both presidents were in the same team. Note that Putin and Lukashenko is not the first time playing hockey together. For example, in February 2019 during the three-day negotiations, they found time for sticks and pucks.
Vladimir Putin was to play hockey in 2011. He is the initiator of the creation of Russia’s Night hockey League, involving Amateur teams from across the country.
