Farmington police say one person has been arrested in connection with a triple homicide investigation.

According to police, they visited a residence on the 5400 block 183rd Street West for a welfare check around 9:30 Wednesday.

They found three adult victims inside the house when they arrived.

The man, who was being held at Dakota County Jail, was taken into custody immediately.

“I want the community to know that this was not an isolated incident and that there is no danger to the public. Farmington Police Chief Gary Rutherford stated that they are not seeking additional suspects.

Farmington police are being assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Police have yet to identify the victims or arrest the suspect.
