People in Berlin and Brandenburg can prepare themselves for a mostly friendly Pentecost weekend. In addition to a lot of sun, there is also showery rain and thunderstorms, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Potsdam.

After a sunny and dry Friday with temperatures between 23 and 27 degrees, the forecast is that it will initially be very cloudy south of Berlin on Saturday.

Rain showers can be strong and thundery in places. But by noon the showers will subside, and at 22 to 24 degrees it will be increasingly brighter.

Pentecost Sunday will be sunny and dry. The temperatures rise to 24 to 27 degrees.
