Olympic figure skating champion, 28-year-old Russian athlete Ksenia Stolbova serving in pair skating, announced his retirement from sports, announced the press-service of Federation of figure skating of Russia (FSFR).
“Yes, indeed, today I filled out all the necessary documents on the withdrawal of the national team of Russia and the end of sports career, – said Stolbov. I want to thank all the mentors and people who helped me throughout my sports career: the FSFR, my family and friends and of course fans all over the world. I’m not saying goodbye, and saying, “goodbye.”
Recall, paired with Stolbova Fedor Klimov at the Olympic games 2014 in Sochi won gold in the team competition, and also took silver in the pairs.
