Heroes 24/01/20 Gregory Olkhovsky: the only soldier shot in the heart who survived
Combat injuries resulting in death are in the vital organs. The human heart, it is certainly one of them. But in this country’s medical history has confirmed episodes, when people with a bullet wound to the heart did not die and then full went live.

The parents of Gregory S. Olkhovsky soon received a funeral notice that their son died defending the Homeland.
Alive with a wounded heart

War and the life
Many months Olkhovsky, Gregory was treated at the hospital of the city of kovrova. In the period in Kovrov in the evacuation was the designer of small arms, the Creator of the domestic machine guns, Vasily Alekseyevich Degtyarev with his family. Valuable award
In 1970, Grigory Ivanovich olkhovskiy in a group of veterans was invited to the Leningrad Museum, and the exposition of military glory saw his shot Komsomol card. Because it on that fateful day from the left pocket of his tunic took the gunners, considering comrade killed. That this is his document, Olkhovsky said the guide. In 1974, the Museum staff invited Grigory Ivanovich Olkhovsky to celebrate 30 th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi troops near Leningrad and the Cuban delegation organized a meeting with this hero.
