NFL legend Jimmy Johnson previews FOX’s NFL Week 1 Program

The actual question: Can Aaron Rodgers be suiting up in green and yellowish in Week 1?

The New Orleans Saints and also the Green Bay Packers are the match of the week on FOX when the NFL season opens this autumn.

Jimmy Johnson, a Super Bowl champion head coach and co-host of”FOX NFL Sunday,” shown that the Week 1 slate of games on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday.

“Green Bay, I think they’re able to be a Super Bowl contender. But if Aaron Rodgers isn’t there, ” I think it’s catastrophic for Aaron Rodgers. He’s not gonna earn any money and in addition to that he will not be on as good a football team. Another thing, it could be catastrophic for Green Bay since they’re a Super Bowl contender.

“New Orleans, Taysom Hill, a brand new quarterback but they got an outstanding football team.”

Johnson added that Rodgers along with the Packers”need to work out their differences”

“They can sit like grown guys and say,’Hey, what are our difficulties and what are our differences?'” Johnson added. “I hope they do.”

The Philadelphia Eagles will take about the Atlanta Falcons, the Seattle Seahawks will perform the Indianapolis Colts, the Detroit Lions will perform the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings will perform the Cincinnati Bengals in 1 p.m. ET.

The Denver Broncos will take on the New York Giants in 4:05 p.m. ET along with the nationally televised game between the Saints and Packers will kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Johnson said he believes the Giants might be a playoff team despite going 6-10 last season.

It will be the start of an 18-week year with each team playing 17 games for the first time in league history.
