The murder of a 50-year-old woman on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm in spring 2021 is the subject of the ZFD program “Aktenzeichen XY…unsolved” this Wednesday evening.

A homicide commission is still investigating the case, the police tweeted. At the same time, she again pointed out the suspended reward of 5,000 euros and a video recording of a suspicious man.

Oksana Romberg was found on April 1, 2021 with fatal injuries to her head and upper body in her apartment on Kurfürstendamm.

She ran a beauty salon on nearby Walter-Benjamin-Platz. From there she had walked to her apartment the day before.

Police are asking who else saw or spoke to Oksana Romberg on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 after 6 p.m. And whether anyone made suspicious observations in the Kurfürstendamm 61 area between the evening of March 31, 2021 and April 1, 2021.

The homicide commission takes tips on the telephone number 030/4664911888 or by e-mail to lka119@polizei.berlin.de. The public prosecutor’s office has offered a reward of up to 5,000 euros for information leading to the conviction of the perpetrator. (dpa)
