Kontinental hockey League in 2021 can take part in the tournament, the first club from Uzbekistan. This was stated by first Vice-President of the hockey Federation of Uzbekistan Mr. Bakhodir Gafurov.
“For us to sign in the KHL is not an end in itself. We understand that the KHL is the highest level ice hockey League in Eurasia, — quotes the words Gafurov website of the Uzbek club “Humo” from the KHL. In the current and next seasons participation in the VHL for us is optimal from all points of view: financial costs result… it is likely that in the 2021/22 season we will play in the KHL”.
Recall that in addition to the club from Uzbekistan for a place in the KHL is also claimed by clubs from Germany, France, UAE and UK.
