In Berlin there was a fire in two apartments in apartment buildings on Tuesday night. As a spokesman for the Berlin fire department announced in the morning, a kitchen in an apartment building on Bötzowstrasse in Prenzlauer Berg caught fire late Monday evening.

According to the spokesman, the fire on the third floor then spread to the fourth and partly to the fifth floor. The fire brigade was on site with 56 emergency services. No one was injured in the fire.

Shortly thereafter, a fire in an apartment building was also reported on Wolfgang-Heinz-Strasse in Karow. In the apartment on the second floor, the kitchen and living room caught fire early in the morning.
