China offers Russia to change dates of carrying out of stages

the organizers of the stage of “Formula-1” in China due to the outbreak of 2019 coronavirus-nCoV want to change the dates of the race with Russia. According to the approved calendar, the Chinese Grand Prix should go from 16 to 19 April, and the Grand Prix of Russia – from 24 to 27 September.

Representatives of the race in Shanghai took the initiative to exchange dates. As reported by publication Speedweek, the Russian automobile Federation had not received a formal request from the Chinese side.

In this case, the promoter of the Russian stage “Formula-1” Alexey Titov in an interview with TASS stated: “the date of the Grand Prix approved by the International automobile Federation (FIA) in October last year and remains unchanged”.

Earlier it became known that the leadership of “Formula E” together with the FIA has decided to cancel the racing stage in China.
