“In 1957 Burger King changed the game when they introduced the Whopper sandwich, an iconic, flame-grilled hamburger prepared YOUR way,” Zahra Nuani, head marketing communications at Burger King North America stated.
There are about 1,024 potential combinations of the burger, which features a beef patty topped with ketchup, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion, Nurani added.
However, the discount is only available to Burger King Royal Perks Members.

According to USA Today, Jose Cil, CEO of Restaurant Brands International, which also owns Popeyes and Tim Horton’s, announced the news at Morgan Stanley’s Global Consumer and Retail Conference.

Cil stated that “we’re simplifying processes which have become too complicated in sandwich builds and doing a better job with the menu design to make a customer, especially at the drive-thru, make faster decisions.”
