Azat Kadyrov appointed Deputy Minister of sports

Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin appointed Azat Kadyrov to the post of first Deputy Minister of sports. Kadyrov will replace on this post of Sergey Kosilov.

Azat Kadyrov held the post of Director General of Executive Directorate of Universiade-2013. After the Universiade, he took the position of General Director of ANO “Directorate of sports and social projects.” The Directorate was responsible for the organization of the Kazan matches of the world Cup 2018 and world championship in water sports 2015.

Azat Kadyrov will be the first Deputy Oleg Matytsin, who took over as sports Minister in the new government. Matytsin was replaced as Minister Pavel Kolobkov.
