Alexei Morozov, who was elected President of the Continental hockey League, outlined the main directions of activities of the new leadership of the KHL. In particular, next season in the League would enter a ceiling of salaries.
Morozov said that he will stick to the plan the League’s development Strategy “23” “the League is headed in the right direction. We will introduce not only the ceiling but also the floor of wages. Reforms are under consideration”, — quotes the words of Alexei Morozov to RIA Novosti.
Alexei Morozov thanked his predecessor Dmitry Chernyshenko for their work. “Thank you for what brought the League to a new level. I got a good inheritance. I will continue your endeavor.”
New KHL President touched on a possible expansion term. “We are interested in market of Europe and Asia. We study these areas,” — said Alexei Morozov.
